The Digital Accessibility Coordinator in the Information Security and Policy Office offers a variety of accessibility training opportunities throughout the year.

Accessibility@IOWA

Accessibility@IOWA is the Digital Accessibility Coordinator's flagship training resource. Offered through the university's ICON learning management system, Accessibility@IOWA offers a deep dive into digital accessibility, as well as just-in-time information to address questions in real time.

The course is open for self-enrollment. Visit Accessibility@IOWA.

100 Days of Accessibility

Each spring, the Digital Accessibility Coordinator offers 100 Days of Accessibility. The 100 Days initiative provides a 100 day window of opportunity for technology users and providers at the University of Iowa to build capacity in digital accessibility through skills and awareness development, strategic planning, and intentional action. 100 Days of Accessibility begins in February and culminates in Global Accessibility Awareness Day, the third Thursday in May.

Digital Accessibility Summer Camp

The Digital Accessibility Coordinator offers summer programming in the form of the popular Digital Accessibility Summer Camp. Accessibility campers acquire general skills and awareness in a condensed series of training sessions. Digital Accessibility Summer Camp runs from early June to the end of July.

Accessibility Back to School Days

The Back to School series consists of three core modules as a refresher for people returning to campus, as well as an onboarding opportunity for new Hawkeyes. Back to School dates vary according to the academic calendar.
