Destination PDF: Creating More Accessible PDFs
100 Days of Accessibility continues with Destination PDF: Creating More Accessible PDFs, Part I of our popular Destination PDF series.
In Part I, our primary focus will be on source documents — documents in Word, PowerPoint, InDesign, and other formats — that we export to create shareable PDF documents. We’ll work with each of these document formats to produce PDF documents that are robust and highly accessible and review practices to avoid when working to create more accessible content.
Destination PDF: Basic PDF Remediation
In Destination PDF: Basic Remediation, we use Acrobat Accessibility Checker to identify and interpret accessibility issues in existing PDF documents. Based on the results of the Accessibility Checker, we will use tools and features in Acrobat to remediate a document for improved accessibility. The goal here is to clear issues from the Acrobat Accessibility Checker and measurably improve the accessibility of our most important PDF documents.
