100 Days of Accessibility: What You Need to Know

What is the 100 Days of Accessibility Initiative?

The 100 Days of Accessibility is a structured, time-bound initiative designed to support learning, planning, and action around digital accessibility. It offers a mix of trainings, resources, and opportunities that help participants make practical progress while reinforcing accessibility as an ongoing practice.

Why 100 Days?

The 100 day timeline allows for a steady cadence of learning, reflection, and action, helping participants focus effort while reinforcing that accessibility is an ongoing effort. 100 Days culminates on Global Accessibility Awareness Day, situating local progress within a broader, global conversation about accessibility and inclusion.

Do I have to do accessibility for 100 straight days?

No. The 100 Days aren’t a sprint or a daily requirement. They provide a window of opportunity to focus on accessibility work at a pace that fits your role and workload. You might attend a session, try a tool, review part of a workflow, or take a few intentional actions over time. The focus is on steady, meaningful progress toward accessibility.

I can't attend all the trainings. Will they be recorded?

Yes. The trainings will be recorded and made available to anyone. If you register for a given training, you will be notified when the recordings are published.

What is Global Accessibility Awareness Day?

Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD) is an annual accessibility event now in its 15th year. The purpose of GAAD is to get everyone talking, thinking and learning about digital access and inclusion, and the more than One Billion people with disabilities/impairments.
