In this example, an event announcement was shared via email. The event announcement included specifics including the name, time and location of the event. This information was provided as ALT text with the announcement.

Note that not all of the text in the announcement is included in the ALT text--specifically the attendance of Council Members and the city's ADA Coordinator. Given that important information, repeating the text content in the body of the email may have been a preferable solution.
