Scheduling a Consultation

The Digital/IT Accessibility Group offers consultation services to programs and staff in support of university activities. Consultation topics include assistance with:

• Evaluating new technology prior to purchase or acquisition;
• Creating accessible applications, websites, and documents;
• Accessibility testing and assessment;
• Understanding accessibility policy and standards;
• Staff training and professional development;

When you request a consultation, please provide the following information:

• The general question or purpose of the consultation (e.g., policy, training);
• Software, tools, or other technology to be addressed in the consultation;
• Key staff and stakeholder roles to be included, if any (e.g., faculty, students, IT support);

Any University of Iowa department or unit may request an accessibility consultation. Faculty and instructional staff are especially encouraged to schedule a session. Note that training and assessment services require an initial consult prior to delivering those services.
