Spring 2019 Session: Inclusive Course Design: Accessibility and UDL

In this session we discuss Universal Design for Learning through the lens of accessible technology. Participants will understand how accessibility principles intersect with UDL principles to support more inclusive course delivery, and the role of instructional technologies in providing learning environments that support all learners.

This session is led by guest presenter Todd Weissenberger. Todd has 20 years of experience in the field of IT accessibility, and currently serves as the IT Accessibility Coordinator at the University of Iowa. From 2003 to 2011, Todd was Senior Web Designer and IT Support Manager at the University of New Mexico Center for Development and Disability.
